1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Heatmapper ("the Service," "we," "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, EXIT THIS PAGE AND DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.

2. Description of Service

Heatmapper provides death location analytics and heatmap visualization for Valorant players. We analyze your match data to help identify patterns and improve gameplay. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Riot Games, Inc.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

3.1 Age Requirement

The Service is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. Use by anyone under 13 is strictly prohibited.

3.2 Riot Account Authentication

You must authenticate through Riot Sign On (RSO). By doing so, you also agree to Riot Games' Terms of Service. We never receive or store your Riot password.

3.3 Account Responsibility

• Your account is for personal use only and may not be shared
• You must provide accurate information
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT:

• Access non-public areas of our systems
• Probe, scan, or test system vulnerabilities
• Circumvent security or authentication measures
• Use automated tools to scrape or spider the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Create derivative works based on the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
• Transmit viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Use the Service for commercial purposes without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Collect or store other users' personal data

4.2 API and Data Access

• You may only access the Service through our provided interfaces
• Manual or automated crawling, scraping, or spidering is prohibited
• Any API access must comply with our rate limits and documentation

5. User Content

5.1 Responsibility

You're solely responsible for any content you submit, including its accuracy, legality, and appropriateness.

5.2 License Grant

By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, reproduce, and display such content in connection with the Service.

5.3 No Backup Obligation

We don't guarantee backup of your content and it may be deleted at any time without notice.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Riot Games Content

Valorant™ and all related properties are owned by Riot Games, Inc. We claim no ownership of these properties.

6.2 Our Property

The Service's original content, features, and functionality (including algorithms, visualizations, and analytics tools) are our property and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.3 Feedback

Any suggestions or feedback you provide becomes our property, and we may use it without compensation or attribution.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

Your use is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described therein.

8. Third-Party Services

8.1 External Links

We're not responsible for third-party websites or services linked from our Service.

8.2 Overwolf Integration

If using our Overwolf app, you must also comply with Overwolf's terms.

9. Service Modifications and Availability

9.1 Changes to Service

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time without notice or liability.

9.2 API Dependencies

This Service uses Riot Games’ public API in compliance with Riot’s API policies. If Riot changes or revokes API access, this Service may be modified or terminated accordingly.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10.2 No Guarantee

WE DON'T GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT RESULTS OBTAINED WILL BE ACCURATE.

10.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY.

10.4 Maximum Liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 3 MONTHS, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another
• Your User Content

12. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including:
